VISUALIZE YOUR
INTERNAL NETWORK

1. Purpose of this tool

• Visualize your internal network topology from agent-driven discovery (ARP / SNMP / TCP scans).
• Calculate a risk score per device based on exposed services (RDP, SMB, SSH, web, Telnet, etc.).
• Give security teams and architects a board-ready map of routers, switches, firewalls, servers and endpoints.

2. Reading the main screen

• Header bar – shows live status (e.g. "Loading…", "Demo mode", "Live mode").
• Executive Summary – key counts: Devices, Sites, Links, High-risk.
• Key Security Insights – auto-generated bullets highlighting risks and recommendations.
• Topology canvas – each circle = a device. Color shows risk (green → orange → red).
• Right-hand panel – Asset details, Manual editor, Top 5 by risk.

3. Toolbar & filters

• Search – free-text filter across hostname/label, IP and site name.
• Site filter – restrict the view to a single data centre, branch or campus.
• Type filter – focus on routers, switches, firewalls, servers or endpoints only.
• Highlight most exposed – emphasizes the top-risk nodes with larger circles.
• Fit button – re-centres and auto-zooms the map so all nodes are visible.
• Export map as PDF – captures the graph container into a landscape PDF slide.

4. Demo mode vs Subscriber mode

• Demo mode – shows a baked-in sample topology for product tours and training.
• Subscriber mode – pulls real-time topology from your deployed agents.

5. Manual device management (subscribers only)

• Click a node to populate the editor, then modify fields and press Save.
• Press New to clear the form and create a fresh device.
• Press Delete to remove a device and all its links.

6. Network Health Dashboard (NEW)

• Online – percentage of devices seen in the last 24 hours.
• At Risk – count of devices with risk score ≥ 20.
• Coverage – percentage of network segments with at least one agent.
• Score – overall network health score (A-F grade).

7. Quick Actions (NEW)

• Refresh – manually reload topology data.
• Fit View – reset zoom and center all nodes.
• Show Risks – toggle highlight on high-risk devices.
• Clear Filters – reset all search and filter options.
